a certified content marketer and multicultural marketing consultant, excels at helping Delaware organizations build their brands with engaging content across multiple channels. As founder of Hook PR Group and Hook Translations, she leads a team of creative storytellers to develop content marketing campaigns that effect change and reel in results. She began her career as a print journalist and worked at The New York Times; The News Journal in Wilmington, Del.; and The Dallas Morning News. She holds a B.S. in communications from the University of Tennessee. Patricia is an active community member, serving as a board director of La Esperanza in Georgetown and as a member of the governor-appointed Delaware Hispanic Commission.

Mauricio Martinez

Mauricio Martinez

our senior web developer and social media consultant with more than 10 years of experience, handles the group’s web projects and digital campaigns. He is a pro at using web development responsive platforms, including content management systems such as Joomla, WordPress and Magento. His areas of proficiency are HTML 5, Swift, CSS3, PHP, SCRUM and Java Script/ JQuery/Angular. He implements in all web projects best practice accessibility and the latest web standards guidelines. Mauricio is also a master systems engineer with specialty in Cisco Systems Network and Apple development. He can bridge the gap between technical and business aspects of digital marketing and make best use of the tools and technology available.

is an independent contractor who specializes in partnering with clients to create strategic marketing plans that generate qualified leads and increase sales. As a Hook PR Group senior consultant, she helps our clients think creatively and provides targeted solutions to achieve consistent marketing results. Jennifer started her marketing career in the financial services industry and has since worked with service providers in a variety of industries across the United States and Canada. In addition to planning and budgeting, she does extensive blog writing, website redesign, social media marketing, and special event promotion. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Ray earned his bachelor’s degree in art from Towson University and has been in the design industry for more than 20 years. is a journalist and technical writer who has written about technology, science, nature and medicine. At Hook PR Group, she brings her journalism skills to the art of crafting difficult concepts into a clear and compelling narrative. Her work has appeared in The Oklahoman and the News Sentinel in Knoxville, Tenn., and she has written content for organizational newsletters, brochures and other materials. Marlene taught social media at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she received a master’s degree in communications with a concentration in journalism and electronic media.

a certified Spanish translator with a mastery of both English and Spanish, is a senior translator for Hook Translations. His education, experience and attention to detail give him a degree of excellence in his translation and editorial work that is unsurpassed. Since 2006, Pablo has translated for several major companies. Also skilled in simultaneous interpretation, Pablo has applied his knowledge of the two languages to real-time interpretations during various conferences and training courses. His knowledge in translation software includes Trados (Tag editor and Multiterm), SDLX and Transit.

Erica Huttner

Erica Huttner

joined the Hook team as a contributing editor and translator in 2015. She has a master’s in translation studies from Durham University in the United Kingdom. She specializes in Spanish to English translations, which allow her to draw on the cultural and linguistic knowledge that she gained during her two years as an English teaching assistant for the Spanish Ministry of Education. As an editor of content written in English, she has a keen eye for detail. She proofs text developed by the Hook team for accuracy, clarity and consistency of content.
